We have not appointed a data protection officer; we are not required to do so (Section 38 BDSG).
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
When you open the site, the server automatically processes the access data your browser transmits:
Purpose and legal basis: technically faultless operation, system security and defence
against attacks – legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention: log files are deleted or anonymised after seven days at the latest; longer only
where a specific incident needs to be investigated.
The form on the home page lets you register your interest in beta access. We process the details you enter there:
| Required | company, role (coach operator / tour operator / agency / other), contact person, email address |
|---|---|
| Optional | phone number, message |
| Technical | time of submission; a hidden field serves solely to block spam and is not stored |
Purpose: we add you to the waiting list, assign you to the relevant side of the market
and contact you once the next group is given access.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request, pre-contractual) and
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for spam prevention.
Retention: until your enquiry has been dealt with, at most 24 months after the last contact.
If a contract is concluded, statutory commercial and tax retention periods apply. You may object to further
storage at any time, informally.
The details are transmitted to our own application, which runs on a server we operate at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, and are stored there. They are not passed on to third parties; in addition, a notification is sent to our own mailbox (see the next section).
Our business email runs on Google Workspace. For users in the EEA the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you write to us or use the form, the content and sender details are processed and stored there.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (handling your enquiry, running our communications
efficiently). A data processing agreement is in place with Google.
Transfers outside the EU: processing in the United States cannot be ruled out. Google relies
on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy
Framework, for which the Commission has issued an adequacy decision.
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where we rely on a legitimate interest, you may object under Art. 21 GDPR. Any consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
An informal message to the address or email above is enough.
